They are three star conductors and come from one family: Paavo, Kristjan and Neeme J\u00e4rvi. Since 2011 they have been meeting every summer in the small Estonian port town of P\u00e4rnu on the Gulf of Riga to give concerts and hold workshops.<\/p>\n

This year, the piece “Korale for 80” by Kristjan J\u00e4rvi is one of the highlights of the P\u00e4rnu Music Festival. He composed it for his father Neeme’s 80th birthday. It will be conducted by Kristjan’s brother Paavo J\u00e4rvi.<\/p>\n

The festival in P\u00e4rnu also features world-famous artists. This year the exceptional Norwegian cellist Truls M\u00f8rk is among them.<\/p>\n
